Pastor Ronald Hart Ronald L. "Ron" Hart has been the pastor of Walnut Grove Church since 1975. Under his ministry the church has grown from a faith community of less than 50 to over 200. Pastor Hart is a graduate of Eugene Bible College and has held credentials with the Open Bible Churches since 1957. He holds a BA from Cascade College, Portland, Oregon (1964); a Masters in Education from the University of Portland, Portland, Oregon (1971); and an honorary Doctorate in Humanities from Florida Beacon College, Largo, Florida (1987). He was the founder and director of Youth Outreach, a residential care and family-service agency, in Vancouver. He served that agency for 22 years. Active in his community Ron served three terms (1980 through1991) on the Vancouver City Council and was mayor pro-tem from 1989-1991. He has served on the boards of Cascade College, Eugene Bible College, and a host of community serving agencies. In recognition of his community service, in 1973, Ron was named Vancouver's Junior First Citizen. In that same year, he received the Junior Chamber of Commerce Distinguished Service Award. Robert (Red) Bourdage Red has over 30 years of experience in management, electronics, information technology, telecommunications and video systems. He has successfully managed communications, data and video networks in medical, business, and military settings. Red managed the implementation; testing, operation and evaluation of a Congressionally sponsored 4-year Telemedicine and Tele-Radiology. As the Department of Defense Medical representative on the Defense Information Infrastructure Initiative team, he was involved in building the military's first converged voice, video and data network for all military organizations in the Pacific Northwest. Red has participated in the technical aspects of the National Transparent Optical Network. Reds computer science background includes systems programming, statistical analysis, computer operations, network management and Internet systems management for government and private industry. His technical focus has been in high speed Metro Ethernet (Gig E, 10 Gig E) design and deployment, video systems design and implementation, Free Space Optics and wireless network design and testing, and Systems testing and validations. He has a BA in Behavioral Science and an MBA in Telecommunications Management. Herb Femling Herb has over 20 years experience in finance and the telecommunications industry. He has served in all phases of the corporate finance and business planning as well as in IT and operations. Herb's financial experience includes responsibility for a wide variety of financial functions and business plan development. He has constructed complex business planning models, the formulation of business strategy and product development models. His financial management expertise includes the design of revenue forecasting, product costing models and evaluating capital spending requirements relative to the impact on corporate capital structure. Herb has been involved the development of Regulation 'D' 506 private placement securities offering document. He has five years of experience in sales and marketing in consumer products. His education includes BS and MS degrees in science and an MBA in finance. |
