What is a COO?
A COO is a diverse manager that understands the objectives of the CEO
and Board of Directors and is capable of influencing strategy, operations,
budgets, sales, marketing, cost control, change management and other
diverse functions as designated by the CEO in order to improve
leadership, promote more desirable financial results and meet superior
overall business objectives.

What would be the interest in COO?
The business may be experiencing great productivity yet it desires to
improve performance

There is an interest in forming an Advisory Board. The questions are
how and why?

Management desires to review and expand the businesses strategic
plan and have assistance in implementing it

There is an interest or need in making technology changes. What are
the full dynamics of change management

The need to improve processes and procedures or put some in place
for the first time as well as establish performance goals across the
organization

The need to raise new funding sources, having to develop the plan
and presentation material required to present at the investor road
shows

The CEO and other key executives are wearing too many hats and
there is a need for someone with:
•   Excellent interpersonal, communications, public speaking and
     presentation skills
